Get Off Your Sorry @$$ and Live!

Ever wonder what it’s all about? You know what I mean, you wash your hands and face and look in the mirror and wonder: who am I? Why am I here? What’s the point to anything and everything? You might go down that dark path that leads to the inevitable: your death. And once you’re gone, does anything you’ve done in your life make a difference? All your hopes, dreams, successes, failures, people you’ve loved and loathed places you’ve traveled (or wish you had), items you’ve owned mean nothing then. What’s the point you ask.

Well here’s the point: there is quite possibly no other collection of matter or energy in the universe able to observe these conditions and question why, other than you and your human kin. The point is to experience everything you can in your life and relish the fact that you have the intelligence to appreciate it for what it is. Don’t waste the special gift you have by moping about the futility of it all, and definitely don’t fuck it up for anyone else by hurting them. This moment, right now, is your chance to see the world through a lens you may not have noticed before. Seize your opportunity and make the most of what you have because it could all be taken away any moment.

A Brave New (and Hopefully Dry) World

Rain, showers, precipitation, liquid sunshine, Odin's piss, Gaia's tears, cats & dogs, falling sky, whatever you call it after a while it just starts to get old. I like the rain. When a sudden downpour begins I'm the guy running out into it with just a t-shirt on just for fun, but I tell you enough has surpassed enough. Starting to feel like Noah here: I already have 2 dogs, now I just have to make room for everyone else. Screw it! It'll just be me and the dogs starting over from scratch this time. Keep things simple and hopefully it'll work out a hell of a lot better than the last go-round! Just a thought.
